Oakdene Care Home is looking to appoint a Senior Healthcare Assistant to work nights.

The award-winning home, based in Three Legged Cross, provides person-centred care for up to 71 residents. We specialise in: Residential, Dementia & Respite care.

Senior Healthcare Assistant Contract

• 22 – 44 hours per week

• Shift: 7pm – 7am

• Pension

• 5.6 weeks annual leave

• Paid DBS

As Senior Healthcare Care Assistant, you will take charge of the shift and guide staff to deliver excellent personal care to the residents’ daily needs. The successful applicant will also be expected to develop person-centred care plans, complete and update assessments, review the care plans monthly and organise and hold reviews with the residents or family members.

The ideal candidate is expected to have a Level 3 NVQ Health & Social Care, but we would consider an experienced Healthcare Assistant with Level 2 NVQ and wishes to progress to the next level.
