Activity Coordinator

Your role:

As a naturally caring and compassionate person, you will play a central role in ensuring our residents lead a stimulating and fulfilling life by developing and planning activities, outings and events.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing excellent care and support to residents
• Organising a calendar of stimulating activities 
• Understanding the care/support of each individual to support their physical and physiological needs
• Providing support and guidance to family members
• Engaging in day to day activities and providing companionship to residents
• Accurately maintain records and contribute towards residents’ care plans and review meeting with professionals
• Work within a flexible rota system adapted to meet the needs of the residents
• Maintaining good communication and developing effective working relationships with other team members

Previous experience in a similar background is desirable, but not essential as training and support will be given. For this post, we warmly welcome applicants who have previous carer experience. We are looking for someone who is able to use their initiative, to motivate and encourage our residents within a positive and active environment.
