Senior Care Assistant (Nights)

To support with the care of all Residents within the care home and, and take responsibility for the day to day running of an area of the care home. To delegate tasks and monitor Care Team activity.

Main Duties:

• To support and liaise with the Home Manager in all aspects of care within the care home

• To supervise a team of care staff on each shift, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained at all times

• To assist in the supervision and induction of junior / inexperienced care staff in all aspects of their training needs and work
• To manage the administration of prescribed medication
• Monitor changes in a residents condition and update records accordingly and report to the Manager, GP, as appropriate
