Nottingham Care Village are recruiting a Senior Care Assistant
to become an integral part of the care team.
Nottingham Care Village is a Residential Care home is
looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Care Assistant who
is aware of the importance of meeting the resident’s needs, offering
person centred care whilst helping them maintain a good quality of
life. We are looking for a committed individual who has excellent
communication skills and is willing to work on their own or as part of
a team. Our care staff are dedicated, hardworking and cheerful and we
are looking for someone who would be an excellent fit within our team.

About Care Role:
- Full time position
- 36 hours per week, overtime also available at a higher rate.
- Supporting older residents, people with dementia and or mental health
- Additional hours available to cover holidays etc
- Usual shift times are 8-8pm
Responsibilities and Duties (but are not limited to)
- Lead a small staff team
- Administer medication
- Liaising with medical professionals and resident’s families
- Supporting older residents, people with dementia and or mental health
- Assisting residents with personal care, including dressing,
undressing, mobility, personal hygiene, eating and drinking.
- Document and report any changes in resident’s health status.
- Provide person-centred care.
- Ensure residents safety and well-being.
Qualifications and Skills
- NVQ level 2 or higher essential
- Experience of working with the elderly
- Good Communication skills
- Ability to work on their own or as part of a team
- The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in the
care of older people, and preferably in a dementia care environment.
