Care Assistant

Escan Manor Care Home is a new care home in Exeter, Devon, with modern state of the art facilities.

At Escan Manor Care Home, we believe that our residents should be assisted to live as full and active a life as possible within a caring and supportive environment. We ensure that resident well-being and happiness is central to all that we do, developing each individual care plan and decision to reflect the needs, wishes and choices of the resident.

We are currently seeking to recruit Care Assistants for day and night shifts with a passion for providing residents with exceptional, kind, individualised care that promotes choice, dignity and respect.

• To join our team you will have experience within a care home setting caring for older people.
• You will preferably hold an NVQ 2 qualification.
• You will have a kind and caring approach with a passion for delivering the highest possible standard of care and support for the residents.
• You will have excellent communication skills and have a desire to work in a participatory manner with residents and relatives to enable them to achieve desired outcomes and goals.
• You will have the right to work within the UK.

The recruitment process aims to create and maintain a safe workforce and contains robust vetting procedures. The successful applicants will be appointed subject to references and enhanced DBS check.
