Evedale Care Home is looking to recruit a full time 'Clinical Lead
Nurse' with a minimum of 3 years' experience to join the team. Evedale
Care Home is located in the Stoke/Binley area of Coventry with close
proximity to several bus routes.

The home is a 64 bed nursing home that cares for people with nursing
and residential needs.
Benefits of Registered Nurse
Rate of Pay: £21.50 per hour.
Holidays: 28 days annually inclusive of bank holidays.

Requirements of Clinical Lead Nurse
- NMC registration.
- Evidence of continual professional development.
- Medication proficiency (ideally with digital experience)
- Able to plan, risk assess and review care via a digital care
planning portal.
- Highly energetic individual to develop teaching materials and
training programs.
- Able to plan and obtain objectives to ensure the development of service.
- Knowledge of techniques for data collection and ensuring evidence
of safety and compliance.
- Knowledge, skill and competence of nursing practice and theory.
- Able to lead staff and influence a high standard of provision.
- Able to work alone and as a part of a team.
- The post is subject to satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure.
- The position is available for days on a full time basis.
Responsibilities of Registered Nurse
- Ensure that all staff contribute to the best of their ability to
the efficient running of the home and the creation of the right atmosphere.
- Ensure that service users’ personal care needs are met and help to
provide health supervision and attention through direct nursing care
when needed.
- Ensure that formulation of social and health care plans for new
service users and service user reviews are carried out.
- Ensure correct issue of drugs, which the hoe has taken
responsibility and to maintain all necessary records.
- Ensure that advice from relevant professionals is sought at all
times in a timely and professional manner and that any instructions
received from professionals are carried out and documented.
- Ensure that all supplementary documentation that is being
completed for individuals is completed accurately, legibly and timely.
- Ensure that rooms, common spaces, furniture and equipment are
properly cleaned and maintained.
- Participation in staff meetings, staff training and development activities.
- To ensure that the requirement of the Health and Safety at Work
Act 1974 and fire regulations are maintained at a times reporting
any concerns to the Home / Deputy Manager without delay.
- To conduct audits as directed by the Home / Deputy Manager
ensuring that action plans are produced and acted upon.
- To conduct and document supervisions and appraisals for nurses and
care staff in accordance with Capital Care Group policy and procedures.
- To provide direct leadership of the home in the absence of the
Home / Deputy Manager ensuring that effective communication links
are maintained.
- To ensure that all external agencies are informed of significant
events affecting care provision that include CQC, Local Authorities
and Safeguarding Teams.
- To develop, maintain and enhance positive working relationships
with all external agencies associated with the home.
- To ensure the effective maintenance of NMC registrations in line
with personal development and portfolios for continued Revalidation.
To ensure that individual conduct is of the highest standard to
promote and reflect the expectations of the Company and to be a role
model for all other staff.
