The Role
As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives
of residents and improving the overall functioning of the care home.
Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of
excellence and compassion within the team. Under the supervision of a
qualified Staff Nurse, you will:
- Plan and implement care plans and clinical skills for residents.
- Oversee the delivery of quality care and ensure efficient
functioning of the home.
- Lead the caregiving team, providing guidance and support,
especially to those mentoring new staff.
- Act as a role model in promoting resident safety, dignity, and
best interests.
- Maintain accurate care records and coordinate activities for residents.
- Participate in staff meetings and assist Staff Nurses in their responsibilities.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Diploma in Health & Social Care Level 3 (NVQ level 3) or
working towards this (Level 2 with progression).
- Experience as a Senior Carer or Team Leader is preferred but not essential.
- Enhanced criminal record check and satisfactory references are required.
- COVID-19 vaccination proof is mandatory.
- Valid right to work in the UK.
