Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse
to join our nursing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for
providing high-quality care for our residents, ensuring the well-being
of residents, and collaborating with their friends, relatives and
other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent care outcomes. As
a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in assessing residents'
needs, developing care plans, carry out regular care plan reviews and
implementing nursing interventions.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health and medical condition.
- Develop and implement personalised care plans based on residents' assessed needs and preferences.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the residents' physicians.
- Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
- Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding health management and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care delivery.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for the elderly.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Valid registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- • Strong knowledge of older people’ care principles and practices
- • Excellent communication skills
- both verbal and written
- with the ability to build relationship with older people including people living with dementia
- • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- • Compassionate nature with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care
- • Previous experience in providing nursing care for older people including those living with dementia within a Nursing Home setting is essential for this role
