Sales Executive

We’re one of the largest not for profit care provider in the UK, specialising in providing high quality, person-centred care for older people, in care homes and extra care housing nationwide.

At OSJCT we care about our residents and we care about each other. That means you’ll enjoy great career development working for an expanding organisation. Because we’re a not for profit trust, we invest every penny we make in the people who live in our homes and the people who work here too. This means better quality care and lovely homes for our residents, along with competitive wages and great training and development for our people.

We provide outstanding care, working closely with leading experts on dementia and elderly care. And we’re currently modernising our portfolio of care homes – refurbishing our existing homes and moving into new, inspiring, contemporary care homes too.

As we expand nationwide, we need more people with the right mix of skills, passion and ambition to help us grow even more.

Sales Executive: FTC 18 Months

Reporting to: Senior Marketing Manager

Location: Wing View Care Home

Salary: £33,000.00 (pro-rata) 30 hours across 4 days (occasional evening and weekend) plus commission scheme

About the role:

The key objective of this role is to be the sales individual responsible for driving and managing new sales specifically for Wing View Care Centre, aiming to achieve 75% of potential occupancy in the first 18 months after opening and hitting self-funded occupancy targets. You will be dedicated to Wing View, to help drive and support new enquiries, show rounds, and contract agreements.

This role will be officially based out of Wing View Care Centre, but until it is fully open, your temporary base will be Fremantle Court. Your role will require some travel primarily in the Buckinghamshire region.

By working closely with the General Manager, Area Operations Manager and Regional Marketing Manager, along with the wider marketing and PR team, you will provide support in ensuring that a high level of awareness and positive reputational profile with the local community and key health/social care stakeholders is achieved. You will take on learnings and practices established by previous OSJCT new openings and implement these for Wing View.

You will be responsible for managing the new client enquiry pipeline and its conversion into admissions, supported by the Operations team to ensure that Wing View reaches its budgeted occupancy and revenue targets.

You will seek to continuously feed the enquiry pipeline for Wing View, making the most of every new enquiry and ensuring optimum conversion to long term permanent residents. You will work closely with Wing View colleagues, the Customer Service team and other marketing colleagues to achieve successful outcomes that reflect the home’s individual unique selling points.
