Support Worker - Day & Nights

This is an excellent opportunity to join us at Innova Care Ltd. Poplars care home provides a home from home environment and supports up to 6 adults with a complex Learning Disability with Mental Health conditions. In addition, the service also supports people with autism and behaviour which may challenge. There is a focus on enabling our service users to be more independent and we provide varied interesting activities for the people living at the home, along with a holistic approach to care and well-being.

We are looking to hire committed and compassionate Support Workers, with previous care Learning Disabilities experience, to join our friendly and professional team.

Responsibilities and Duties

Our Support workers support adults with a learning disability and mental health conditions in a care home environment.

We are looking for Support workers to work on Days or Nights. Our Support workers are expected to support our clients to their personal care, activities, Holiday, Day trips and preparing meal.

Qualifications and Skills

• Have a genuine desire to care for others;
• Be reliable, compassionate, honest and kind
• Preferably NVQ level 2 but not essential
