some weekends)

Shifts: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

As a Care Assistant, you will be at the heart of our
residents’ daily lives, providing essential care and support to
enhance their quality of life. Your role will involve a diverse
range of responsibilities, including:

Delivering high-quality personal care: Assisting
residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal
hygiene needs.

Supporting mealtimes: Helping residents with eating
and drinking, ensuring that individual dietary needs and preferences
are respected.

Encouraging independence: Promoting dignity and
self-reliance by enabling residents to participate in activities
wherever possible.

Companionship and emotional support: Building
meaningful relationships with residents to provide comfort,
understanding, and a sense of community.

Activity engagement: Supporting residents to
participate in hobbies, interests, and recreational activities that
enhance their mental and physical wellbeing.

Maintaining a safe environment: Ensuring
cleanliness, health, and safety throughout the care home, addressing
any risks or issues promptly.

Collaborating with the care team: Working closely
with colleagues to provide consistent, person-centered care tailored
to each resident's individual needs.

Ongoing training and development: Attending all
required training sessions and actively seeking opportunities to
enhance your knowledge and skills.

*Overtime is paid for working over full time hours. However, overtime
enhancement will not feature on your contract of employment and can be
withdrawn at any time as managers decision is final. Free meals are
given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and

pay is available via ‘WAGESTREAM’

possible care.

Flexibility: Availability to work a range of
shifts, including weekends, to meet the needs of the residents.

Previous experience (desirable but not essential):
Experience in health or social care is beneficial, but not
mandatory. We provide comprehensive training for those new to the field.
