• Shift: 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM

We are looking for an enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team and help deliver high-quality, home-cooked meals to our residents.

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will:

• Support the Chef/Cook in preparing and serving fresh, nutritious meals tailored to the individual needs of residents, including any specific dietary requirements.
• Assist in all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, stock management, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene protocols to ensure the kitchen meets the highest standards.
• Contribute to menu planning by providing feedback on resident preferences and helping to create a positive dining experience.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on food safety regulations and enhance your skills.

*Overtime is paid for working over full time hours. However, overtime enhancement will not feature on your contract of employment and can be withdrawn at any time as managers decision is final. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘WAGESTREAM’. 

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking someone who:

• Has experience in a catering or kitchen assistant role (1 year preferred but not essential).
• Holds a basic food hygiene certificate (or is willing to complete the training).
• Works well in a team, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Has a passion for preparing high-quality meals and takes pride in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment.
• Is adaptable, reliable, and committed to delivering excellent service to residents.
