BANK HEALTH CARE ASSISTANT

The Home provides general nursing and dementia care for elderly people.

Currently have vacancies for care assistants who can demonstrate compassion and empathy in their approach to caring for elderly people. We have bank opportunities(Zero hours contract) with day and night shifts, if you are flexible, you can manage work life balance whilst supporting our residents. 

Responsibilities of a Care Assistant to include, 
•    Washing and dressing
•    Support and serving with meals and drinks
•    Interacting and providing emotional support
•    Engage residents with activities such as arts and crafts, musical evenings, social occasions
•    Evidencing delivery of care

About you,

We seek an individual who is dedicated, passionate, possessing a positive and proactive attitude. You should have,
 
•    At least 2 years’ experience in an elderly care setting
•    Preferably completed or studying for Level 2 in Health and Social Care
•    Show energy and enthusiasm
•    Ability work with people and contribute to the wider team
•    Expected to have a good standard of English to be able to communicate verbally and written
•    Organisational skills, self-starter as well as able to work as a team player.
