· Days (8am-8pm) and Nights (8pm-8am) available, may include weekend working 

About you and the role:

You will be part of a passionate and committed team to ensure that our residents needs are fully met in a homely environment. You must demonstrate that you have the right values, core beliefs and attitude to work with older adults living with dementia.

As a Senior Carer you must ensure continuity of care by delivering high standards of care within a safe environment. You must be able to lead your team and set an example. You must be able to develop positive professional relationships with residents, professionals, visitors and colleagues.

If you are self-motivated, passionate about care and really want to make a difference, you will have the opportunity to widen your experience and skills within our care team.

You must have or be working towards your Health & Social Care QCF/NVQ level 3, you must also have medication training and experience. You will have the opportunity to complete further qualifications and develop your training and knowledge. There is opportunity to progress to a level 5 qualification (you must already have your level 3) to further develop your knowledge and skills once induction and probation is completed.

You will need to demonstrate commitment, great communication and have good interpersonal skills, you must have previous experience of working at this level. Any job offer is subject to receiving satisfactory references and a successful DBS at an enhanced level.

COVID-19 considerations

We are proud to have remained Covid free during the pandemic. To ensure this contiunes, we monitor all staff daily for temperature, and are part of the national rolling testing program for care homes. All necessary PPE is provided.
