Lambton House is a 57 bedroom family run care home for people with residential and dementia care needs.
You will play an essential role in leading care and ancillary staff members in all aspects of our service to residents, including deputising for senior managers at times.
The ability to form positive relationships with residents, their families and professional colleagues is vital.
As senior care assistant you will report to the Registered Manager and be responsible for delivering high standards of care in accordance with company policies and procedures and all external regulatory requirements.
You will lead from the front and set exceptional examples of professionalism in all aspects of leadership and care.
Medication dispensation is part of this role. You will be comfortable dealing with externally based medical professionals at times..
This is a night time senior role. Some weekend working will be required on a rota basis.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Minimum Level 3 required in Health and Social care A compassionate and caring attitude. Dementia awareness and relevant training/qualifications are desirable. A committed and organised approach. A clear thinking
