hourly rate of £13.14 - £14.02ph depending on experience and shifts.

Are you an experienced care professional ready to step into a
leadership role? As a Care Lead at Peninsula Care
Homes, you will be at the heart of a team dedicated to delivering
outstanding care and support for the people living in our homes.
You’ll be a key figure in shaping their day-to-day lives, supporting
them through their journey, and guiding your team to provide
person-centred care with compassion and dedication.
Your Role:

Lead & Co-ordinate Care Teams: Lead and manage
the care team during your shifts, ensuring the highest quality of
person-centred care is delivered to each resident. You’ll be
mentoring, supporting, and guiding your team to meet individual
needs effectively.

Personalised Care: Build meaningful relationships
with residents, understanding their unique preferences and needs, so
you can provide the best possible care and support.

Health & Safety: You’ll be responsible for the
safety and wellbeing of residents, staff, and visitors within the
home, ensuring the environment is safe and conducive to quality care.

Care Plan & Risk Assessment Management: Update
and maintain electronic care plans and risk assessments, ensuring
they reflect the evolving needs of each individual, from
pre-admission onward. You’ll also liaise with external professionals
like CQC, Safeguarding, GPs, and OTs to ensure care standards are met.

Medicine Management: Use the eMAR system to manage
the safe administration of medication, ensuring compliance with all
safety and regulatory guidelines.

Daily Support: Assist with daily living activities,
including personal care, emotional support, and encouraging social
interaction to promote well-being and a sense of community within
the home.
- As a Care Lead, you’ll have the responsibility
and pride of knowing that each shift is an opportunity to lead by
example, support your team, and ensure the residents receive the
care they deserve. It’s a challenging role, but incredibly rewarding.
