The Fremantle Trust have an exciting opportunity for a Service Manager to join our team on a full-time basis, based at our service in High Wycombe.
Supported living is a concept that supports people to live independently who may still require help with personal care. The Fremantle Trust provide innovative and person-centred care for adults with a learning disability through a tailored support programme. Our fundamental principle is to give every single person we support the toolkit they need to live life to the full and as independently as possible. The people we support live in their own homes which may mean shared housing, individual flats and general community housing.
With previous experience of the care sector and effective people management skills, the post holder will be expected to demonstrate their commitment to delivering the Trust values and aims.
Our ideal candidate
· A minimum of 5 years’ experience of working as registered manager within a nursing home or Supported Living Service
· Proven experience of managing large teams of internal staff
· Proven experience of managing commercial budgets, driving occupancy and fee management
· Strong ability to build relationships internally with staff and residents and their families
· Experience of working successfully with stakeholders and CQC
· A nursing background is desirable but not essential
· Holds a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
