Cook/Chef - Coppelia House, Moretonhampstead. Full and part time hours available, to include alternate weekends

Are you a passionate cook who loves preparing nutritious and delicious meals? We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our team at Coppelia House. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to our residents in a warm and friendly environment.

A bit about the role:

Our lovely residents deserve the very best and that includes tasty, nutritious, and comforting meals made with care.

  • Plan and prepare and cook balanced, home-cooked meals tailored to resident's dietary needs
  • Ensure meals are presented well and served on time
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and nutritional guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and well-organised kitchen
  • Work collaboratively with care staff to ensure resident's needs are met

What we're looking for:

  • An experience passionate Cook
  • Knowledge of food safety, allergies, and dietary requirements (e.g., soft diets, diabetic-friendly meals) - or a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently
  • A caring and compassionate attitude
  • Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • A warm, friendly personality and a good sense of humor - it helps in a busy kitchen!
