POSITION: WEEKEND CHEF
A family run care-home caring for 19 residents with Dementia.
SATURDAY: 08:00 – 15:00
SUNDAY: 08:00 – 15:00
RESPONSIBLE TO: The Kitchen Manager / Registered Home Manager
As a Weekend Chef you'll be asked to support with;
- Food Preparation, following meal specs and menu plans
- Delivering Good Quality Cuisine & Safe Service

Temperature recording
- Cooking a variety of menus

Awareness of Food Allergens
- Supporting clearing down the
kitchen as required
- Ad hoc kitchen duties within the kitchen
- Ensure compliance at all times of Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, COSHH and
HACCP requirements and legislation.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment and kitchen areas are cleaned according to cleaning schedules.
£ Salary Dependent on Experience.
A DBS Check will be required for this role (arranged through Woodlands).
