The role

As a Health Care Assistant working as a member of our caring team, you have the responsibility to carry out assigned tasks involving the direct care of the residents, working in partnership with your colleagues, managers and relatives to support the person centred approach to care for the residents. You will also carry out other tasks, which benefit the smooth running of the home and ultimately ensure our residents happiness by providing comfort & keeping them safe. The role requires you to be reliable, working alternative weekends and shifts of either 6 hours or 12 hours.

We are looking for someone who can;

·  Participate and ensure that high standards of residents’ care are achieved taking into account individual residents needs

·  Be proactive with the home’s activities teams

·  To carry out a variety of tasks that provide comfort to our residents’

·  Support management by maintaining the highest standards of care and best practice

·  Enrich the lives of the residents in the home and their families, by being part of the team that provides excellent personalised centred care
