What are we looking for?

We are now recruiting for committed and motivated Healthcare Assistants to join our friendly and supportive team here at River meadows for full time or part time hours. We have both day and night positions.

Whilst no previous experience of working with older people is essential, as full training will be given, it is fundamental that you are compassionate, caring and have a desire to work in a care environment. So why not try something new! You will make a real difference to our resident’s lives as we believe every resident should be treated as part of our family.

As a Care Assistant within Springcare, you would be responsible for:

  • Ensuring our residents remain safe whilst in our home and care
  • Serving food and assisting with mealtimes
  • Changing and making beds
  • Providing personal care to our residents, whilst respecting their dignity and privacy
  • Helping to undertake personal tasks whilst promoting independence
  • Supporting and encouraging clients in activities
  • Using equipment to lift service users and supporting mobility

The role would be subject to two written references, an enhanced DBS and evidence of right to work in UK.
