Care Assistant - Specialist Unit

Arran View Care Home is a nursing home in the quaint town of Saltcoats. We are a multi-unit home caring for ages with varying diagnosises both elderly and young adult.

We are looking for enthused and dedicated individuals to join our care team to continue providing excellent care for our residents.

This post is specifically advertised for our specialist younger adult units, assisting with mental health, learning disabilities etc. Consistency is absolutely key working within this field, therefore we are looking to work alongside reliable and dedicated staff.

Your Responsibilities will include :

• Providing excellent care and support to our residents
• Completing mandatory training
• Completing real-time documentation to detail care delivery
• Offering a safe, caring stable environment to the people we support
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines
• Working in partnership with the manager to ensure the smooth running of the home
• Utilising training given to ensure safety and continuity of care delivery in regards to safeguarding or de-escalating our service users per their individual diagnosis

Hours: 38.5/44 hours per week on a rolling roster basis

Salary: £12 p/h Dayshift

• 12 hour shift

Experience:

• providing care: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
• NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (or working towards/willing to work towards)
