Our Care Home is looking for Carers with or without experience of working in a Dementia home for the elderly who have different needs and abilities.

We are requiring day staff, night staff and twilight staff who are wanting to work in the care sector.

About you: -

Do you enjoy helping the elderly with going out into the community and helping them to get a good quality of life outside the home as well as in the home with different activities and experiences.

We are local to both the train and bus stops if you do not drive.

Able to work in the UK and speak, understand and write clearly in English.

Due to the nature of dementia our residents require to be spoken to and to be understood with their language.

About us: -

We are a Family-owned home run by a manager and deputy manager in Southbourne. We are a friendly small home of 17 residents, all with differing levels of dementia.

We offer you training and enhancements for completing your training and working extra shifts.

What the job entails: -

Personal Care,

Assisting with food and fluids,

Assisting with professional visits,

Assisting with going out into the community,

Ensuring our residents have the best of care and attention they require daily.

Computerised reporting system.

Day Shifts are either 6-hour (8am-2pm), or 12-hour (8am-8pm) shifts.

Nights Shifts are 12 hours 8pm – 8 am.

Twilight shifts are 3 hours 6-9pm.
