Hourly rate: £12.21 per hour
Hours: 30 hours per week, 9am to 3pm, 5 shifts across
Monday to Sunday

We are looking for a compassionate and caring Head Housekeeper to
join our family at Riverdale Care Home. We are looking for individuals

As Domestic Supervisor you will lead, manage and support the domestic
team to ensure the care home is always clean, safe and comfortable for
our residents, staff and visitors. If you are passionate about making

About the role:
- Oversee all aspects of the housekeeping and laundry operations
- Manage and train the housekeeping team to maintain high standards
at all times
- Create and implement cleaning schedules and ensure compliance with
health and safety regulations
- Monitor inventory and order cleaning supplies as and when required
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and hygiene
standards are met and address any concerns promptly
- Clean all public areas, corridors and lounges regularly
- Clean our residents' rooms whilst maintaining their right to privacy
- Keep equipment maintained and stored properly
- Carry out general household duties that promote the welfare of our residents
- Ensure that residents are helped to retain their dignity and individuality
About you:
- The right to live and work in the UK
- Proven experience in housekeeping management, ideally within a
care home or hospitality setting
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and infection control procedures
- Strong attention to detail with a caring nature, positive attitude
and the ability to work in a team
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Willing to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays
