About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the MHA Central Befriending Team. The Central Befriending Team is responsible for delivering a high quality remote befriending service to older people nationally.

The role is Home Based with a requirement to visit our Derby Central office once per month. There can be some flexibility around working location and pattern for the right candidate.

You will be responsible for supporting older people and volunteers through the befriending journey, including responding to enquiries through phone and e-mail and so strong communication skills are essential.

About You

We are looking for an individual with an ability to communicate effectively with volunteers, older people and colleagues across the organisation. Organisational skills will be integral to success in this role so you should possess the ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload. The team use IT systems including Sugar CRM and Xurrent, therefore strong IT skills are needed for the role.
