Business Administration Partner – To work every Friday from 8am – 5pm – £8,800pa pro rata

We have an exciting opportunity for an organised and dynamic Business Administration Partner with great customer service skills and experience in a fast-paced office environment to join our hard-working and friendly Regional Team to cover our 11 Care Homes in Essex. As a Business Administration Partner, you will coordinate and provide effective administrative support to the Regional Team and supervise the administration teams within the homes.

Excelcare is a family-owned Care Home group established for over 34 years. We provide support to older people with a range of needs including dementia, physical disabilities, and mental health issues.   • Working Hours: Every Friday from 8am – 5pm (minus 1 hour unpaid break)
  • Salary: £8,800pa pro rata

About the role:

  • To supervise, implement and maintain administration management systems across the homes and within the regional team
  • Collate financial information from the care homes such as staff costs, summarise the information and produce reports to aid in monitoring trend analysis.
  • Regular, planned auditing of staff personnel files in line with regulation, legislation and in accordance with company policies and procedures, this means ensuring that all relevant documentation is included with regard to recruitment, right to work, training and supervision.
  • Close monitoring of all right to work compliance and overseas worker requirements in conjunction with individual home administrators
  • Regular auditing of financial systems i.e. petty cash, residents’ files, internal compliance systems and any other areas as required within the homes.
  • To support the Regional Operations Director in the execution of their duties - manage diaries, attend meetings, and record minutes, general ad-hoc duties as may be required
  • Provide assistance with all home inspections ensuring that necessary preparation is taken prior to and following announced inspections and that full involvement is provided throughout.
  • To support when necessary in the induction, training, and supervision of Home Administrators.

What we are looking for from you:

  • Advanced level of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Self-motivated and have the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Be organised and be a good organiser.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise at an operational level and with senior managers
  • Drive and enthusiasm with willingness to be flexible as the needs of the business require
  • Experience working in the Health & Social Care Sector.
  • Understanding of CQC regulations
  • Full driving license and car as travel is required (expenses will be reimbursed).
