About The Role

Kitchen Assistant - Competitive pay rate of £12.30 per hour 

Shifts:  8.00am to 7.00pm (3 shifts per week) to include alternate weekends

We have an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Assistant to join the team at Alexandra House, our residential care home located a short distance from Ashley Road, the hub of Parkstone, Poole, Dorset.

What you will be doing:

• Support the Chef team with the basic preparation of fresh and nutritious meals, snacks and drinks for our residents
• Assist with supporting residents with an enjoyable dining experience every day
• Ensuring kitchen and dining room areas are kept hygienic and clean
• Washing all cooking appliances and crockery – sanitising all food preparation areas

Who are we looking for:

Previous experience within a kitchen environment is not essential but be prepared to be busy in a fast-paced role.
Caring individual with the ability to support our residents during mealtimes.
Flexible in the hours that you work and happy to join in as part of our larger kitchen team.
