You will be responsible for the correct billing of fees and prompt
collection of cash within the Sales Ledger Team. We currently have 2x
Fixed Term Contracts available for this role, which will be contracted
for 6 months.
Your responsibilities will include:
•Updating and maintaining the billing system in relation to admissions,
discharges, and financial information
•Collecting income for care fees through the raising of invoices and
manage the recovery of the debts
•Ensuring payments from providers are made within the HC-One timeframes
•Maintaining the posting and allocation of cash received
•Addressing queries from residents, care homes and relatives
efficiently, diarising all communications
•On a monthly basis, reconciling the income and cash within the
required timeframe
You will have excellent communication and listening skills, as the role
will involve dealing with a variety of enquiries by telephone and email,
some of which maybe of a sensitive nature.
Ideally you will have previous experience working within a sales ledger
/ credit control environment, have some knowledge of the care industry
and worked as part of a team in a previous role.
You will be Excel and Word literate, have good analytical skills and a
high level of attention to detail, and have the ability to work to tight
deadlines.
