About the Role:
We are looking for a Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN) with strong clinical skills and a proactive approach to team leadership and resident care. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, leading shifts, supporting junior staff, and maintaining excellent communication with residents, relatives, GPs, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver safe, effective, and person-centred nursing care
• Supervise and support care staff during shifts
• Confidently liaise with GPs, healthcare professionals, and families
• Administer medications accurately using EMAR
• Complete and maintain clear, professional documentation
• Carry out clinical duties including wound care, assessments, and care planning
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment for residents and staff alike
Requirements:
• Valid NMC registration (RGN or RMN)
• Competent in English with strong communication skills
• Good IT literacy and understanding of EMAR systems
• Experience in team leadership and supporting colleagues
• Confident in liaising with medical professionals and relatives
• A proactive, caring, and positive attitude
