Senior Carer - Nights

Are you a carer looking for that next step? 

We are recruiting a senior night carer, to support our residents 2 nights per week. There will also be the opportunity for additional hours, to cover annual leave and other absences. Brambles is a 28 bed residential care home, with no nursing needs.Duties will include

Ensure residents are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing

Contribute to the efficient running of the service

Ensure care plans and other information about how to support residents are followed

Carry out regular checks on residents at intervals determined by the Registered Manager and with due regard to residents’ privacy and dignity.

Answer call bells

Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support

Finish any laundry left from the day and carry out night laundry.

To assist with the cleaning of the home

Maintaining the health, safety & security of the building, and reporting any concerns

Administer medication within policy & procedure

Ensure care notes are completed by the end of each shift
