Queens Park Care is proud to partner with an ambitious, family-owned, expanding private care home provider to recruit a Registered Care Home Manager for their nursing home in Helensburgh. 

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing 'family-run' operator with a non-corporate / non-micro-management style that offers trust and autonomy. The provider has exciting growth plans and is expanding its portfolio across the UK, which may suit individuals motivated by future career progression.

 

The provider has an experienced regional team and other support mechanisms that will assist the successful candidate.

Interview Process:

 

The interview process will be in a two-stage format.

 

  • Stage One - Video call interview with the Regional Director and Regional Support Manager
  • Stage Two - In-person interview with the Owners & Regional Director

 

The Candidate:

 

The provider is looking for the best talent in the sector and wants to hire people who are driven and determined to make a difference to people's lives. 

 

  • Have a proven track record in the management and delivery of high-quality care within medium/large nursing homes
  • Achieved CI Inspection quality grades of 4's and above in all areas
  • Possess strong commercial acumen with a history of driving occupancy and improving fees 
  • Be a confident and influential leader capable of fostering a supportive team environment
  • Able to develop strong relationships with local healthcare agencies, the community, and professionals
  • Possess a Registered Managers Award Level 4 or Leadership and Management in Care Level 5
  • Clinical qualification is desirable – A proven track record of leading a clinical team is essential
  • Excellent communicative skills
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership 
  • Knowledge of Care Inspectorate (CI) Guidelines
  • Driving license and own vehicle are required

 

Location:

 

The care home is based in Helensburgh, which is commutable by car and train from Glasgow, Stirling, and the surrounding areas.
