Roche Health Care are looking to recruit a Cook/Chef to join our friendly team at our Care Home in Mirfield


Salary: Negotiable – dependant on experience
Hours: 14hrs - 2 days a week - alternate weekends - 7.30-2.30pm

Skills / Qualifications:

  • o prepare
  • cook and serve quality meals and refreshments for all service users within the care home
  • making sure that all specialist diets are catered for. Maintain documentation of all food ordered and served within realms of service user choice. Monitor and help to maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and store areas along with all equipment. Previous experience is required. A catering qualification such as NVQ or 706/1 and 706/2 is preferred but not essential. To hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate which is current and up to date. Experienced in working in an environment of older people is preferred but not essential. The cook must be experienced in cooking from basic ingredients. Must be able to provide evidence of high-level commitment to personal development
  • training and education.
