Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a forward-thinking and growing organisation. As the Administrator at Cedar Lodge, you will be placed at the heart of the home along with the people that live here.  This is such a varied role, and no two days will be the same. You will work closely with the Registered Manager with reports, recruitment events and activities within the home. You will carry out pre-employment checks, referencing and ensure offer letters are sent to new team members. You will form close relationships with people living and working in the home, and you will create and maintain files as well as conducting monthly audits, ensuring complete confidentiality. You will lead the reception team conducting 1:1's and appraisals and ensure budgets are set up and controlled. 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collaborate with the management team to provide comprehensive administrative support, ensuring smooth daily operations within Cedar Lodge.
  • Represent the Cedar Lodge brand by maintaining a professional and welcoming presence for all team members, residents, and visitors.
  • Attend and actively contribute to team meetings, including taking and distributing meeting minutes as required.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Home Manager to support the overall functioning of the home.

 

Skills, Qualifications and Abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience within a similar environment desirable
  • NVQ Level 2 in Administration (or equivalent) or a willingness to complete this qualification if not already obtained.
  • Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and internal applications; with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated and capable of working independently.
