Night Clinical Support Lead - Maples Care Home, Bexleyheath

  • Full-time (40 hours per week)
  • Shift Pattern: The role is across 5 nights per week including weekends. Times variable approximately 8 hours per night but this will depend on the needs of the business 
  • Rate of Pay: £18.35ph

Your Role & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the night team, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care.
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to care and ancillary staff.
  • Assist with staff rotas to ensure full coverage and reduce the use of agency staff.
  • Oversee and maintain care plans, ensuring they meet residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Monitor residents’ conditions and report any changes to senior management.
  • Ensure safe administration and management of medication.
  • Maintain compliance with CQC standards and company policies.
  • Support training, staff development, and performance management.
  • Handle any concerns or complaints professionally, ensuring swift resolution.

What We’re Looking For:

  • NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent qualification).
  • Experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a care setting.
  • A professional, compassionate, and flexible approach.
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, mental capacity assessments, and health & safety policies.
