Are you a cheerful, creative individual with a passion for making a difference in people’s lives? We have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly team at Ashridge Court Care Centre as an Activities Assistant.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting the planning and delivery of a varied weekly activities programme, shaped by residents' choices and interests
• Helping to enhance physical, emotional, social, and mental wellbeing through engaging activities
• Getting to know residents as individuals and tailoring one-to-one activities for those who don’t take part in group sessions
• Encouraging team involvement in activities and promoting a positive, caring home culture
• Helping to make our care centre a warm, welcoming and stimulating environment

What we’re looking for:

• A warm, enthusiastic and compassionate nature
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Creative flair with the confidence to put ideas into action
• Experience working with older people or in a care setting is a bonus, but not essential
• Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work shifts, including weekends
• A great team player who’s also happy to work independently
