Care Assistant
Location: Richmond Village, Aston-on -Trent, Derby, DE72 2EA
Salary: £12.60ph & Excellent Benefits
Contract: Permanent - Full & Part Time
Shifts: 12 hrs 8-8pm & 8-8am shifts available & weekends on rota

You'll help us make health happen by:
- Assisting residents with a high standard of clinical, social and
emotional care. Recognising and meeting the specific needs of residents
- Answer emergency bells or calls from residents, to assess the
situation, to deal with resident seeking help and summon the senior
care staff whenever necessary.
- Assist residents who need help with the activities of daily
living; including meal preparation, washing, dressing, toileting and
personal hygiene as documented in their care plan.
- Help residents with mobility problems, including transferring
residents using appropriate equipment and other physical
disabilities, help with use and care of aids and personal equipment.
- Supporting residents with a wide range of differing requirements
from companionship to personal care
- Being part of a team supporting the senior care assistant in
monitoring our residents and reporting changes
- Communicating with residents' families, friends and other
healthcare professional
- Because we care for vulnerable people, we'll need you to complete
a DBS check as part of the recruitment process. Bupa will cover the
cost of this (£40).
