HR Advisor (Employee Relations) £38,725 pa or HR Officer (Aspiring to develop a career within employee relations) £32,125 pa.
Permanent - 37 hours per week - Monday - Friday. (Part-time will be considered min 30 hours) - Hybrid working model.
Our highly regarded and supportive HR Team at MHA is looking to appoint a passionate, and forward-thinking HR Advisor. We offer the flexibility of remote/hybrid working, with a general expectation of 2 days per week to be spent at our Head Office in Derby or at our services. There will also be a requirement for occasional travel to our sites across England and Wales.
Our HR Advisors are at the forefront of providing a comprehensive, pragmatic and professional service to managers and colleagues of our Charity, ensuring that advice given complies with HR best practice and employment legislation and fosters good employee relations to improve our colleague experiences at work.
Reporting to a HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for managing an assigned employee relations case load, including sickness absence, disciplinary, resolution and capability cases, working proactively with managers to agree outcomes and propose recommendations, ensuring that risks are efficiently managed. You will be required to build strong and credible relationships with managers and be viewed as a trusted advisor. Therefore, an ability to build good working relationships, influence at all levels and provide a timely and responsive service is pivotal.
You will be Level 5 CIPD qualified (or bring an equivalent level of knowledge/experience), have experience of supportive the full range of employee relations case work (preferably within a similar sector), but most importantly we are looking for someone who is passionate about what they do. We are looking for an individual that is a confident communicator, proactive, self-motivated and is passionate about developing an HR career in employee relations.
