Night Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in the care home ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Support individuals in maintaining their independence while providing necessary assistance.
• Communicate effectively with residents and their families to understand their needs and preferences.
• Follow care plans meticulously to ensure each individual's specific requirements are met.
• Document any changes in residents' conditions and report them to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for all residents.
• Participate in training sessions and meetings as required to enhance your skills and knowledge in care provision.

Skills

• Experience in a care home setting is highly desirable.
• Proficient English communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with residents and team members.
• Basic IT skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes.
• Ability to drive may be beneficial for roles involving home visits or community outreach.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with residents and their families.
