About the Role: As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital
role in creating and implementing a diverse and engaging program of
activities that cater to the individual interests and needs of our
residents. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and
facilitating a wide range of activities, both inside and outside the home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a weekly schedule of activities, taking into
account resident preferences and abilities.
- Organize and facilitate group activities, individual outings, and
special events.
- Encourage resident participation and interaction, creating a
positive and inclusive environment.
- Assess resident interests and needs, tailoring activities accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of activities and resident participation.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure residents' well-being and safety.
- Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in
activities coordination.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in activities coordination or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
