About the Role: As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in creating and implementing a diverse and engaging program of activities that cater to the individual interests and needs of our residents. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and facilitating a wide range of activities, both inside and outside the home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a weekly schedule of activities, taking into account resident preferences and abilities.
  • Organize and facilitate group activities, individual outings, and special events.
  • Encourage resident participation and interaction, creating a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Assess resident interests and needs, tailoring activities accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities and resident participation.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure residents' well-being and safety.
  • Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in activities coordination. 

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in activities coordination or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for engaging residents in activities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A genuine passion for supporting older people and enhancing their quality of life.
  • Knowledge of local community resources and opportunities.
