Chef

We are looking to recruit a chef to join our kitchen team, at our lovely, family run, Care Home in Bearsden. We provide Residential, Nursing and Dementia Care to older people some with special dietary requirements. We are boutique Care Home with approximately 29 residents.

The ideal candidate should have previous experience of cooking in a Care Home kitchen or similar environment. As a chef you will be required to prepare and cook meals and snacks from fresh ingredients. You will ensure our residents enjoy well-cooked homely, hearty meals including home baking. You will be catering to the health and nutritional needs of our residents including those with special dietary requirements, such as a pureed diet. You will be involved in menu planning with the care home and hospitality manager and assist with ordering. You will be supported by our helpful team of KPs. You will be supported by the Head Chef.

A professional catering qualification or Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate would be an advantage. The company will support you in any further training required.
