Care Assistant

Leabrook House is an indepedent, family run nursing home, located in Tipton in the West Midlands. We currently employ a dedicated team of nurses, carers, domestics, kitchen staff, activity and physio team to provide care and support to residents with complex nursing needs. We are looking for full or part time care assistants, to expand our team and would like to invite you to apply. We offer a fixed rolling rota and a combination of six hour or twelve hour shifts. On site parking is available, however; if you are not a driver- there are bus stops located outside the service and we are a short walk from the tram station. Ideally you will have the following qualities:

• Experience is not essential however a willingness to learn would be an advantage. 
• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude, with good sense of humour and ability to communicate well.
• Be professional, trustworthy and reliable.
• Be a strong team player, with a willingness to help and care for others- including service users and colleagues.
• Have a kind, calm and friendly attitude, able to show care and compassion.
• Aspiration to learn new skills and progress your career.
• Be able to adapt in an ever changing environment.
• Ability to be flexible to cover shifts during holiday periods or episodes of absence.
• Willingness to undertake training as required.
