Silver Howe Care Centre is a centre of excellence providing residential care for older people in the Kendal area with residential and dementia care needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the care team at Silver Howe Care Centre and work with caring, well-trained staff on a day to day basis in the delivery of all aspects of clinical care. In this post, you will be able to develop your skills through our training courses and contribute to the development of specialist person centred care packages. 

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within the independent health sector and specialise in caring for the elderly. The shifts require working days and nights with a fair share of weekend cover. 

Responsibilities include:

Providing day to day care for residents and ensuring procedures are carried out in accordance with policy and procedure.
Checking and recording changes in residents conditions, updating notes accurately
Monitoring the physical and mental conditions of residents and implementing relevant care to avoid deterioration.
Take part in staff and residents meetings, attend in service training sessions when required
