Exciting Opportunity for an Experienced Social Media & Content Executive in Wiltshire Location Oxford Sandford Gate / Hybrid working Contract: Permanent Salary: £35,000 – £37,150 per annum, depending on experience About the Role OSJCT is recruiting for an experienced Social Media & Content Executive to lead the Trust’s social media activity. This is a key role in shaping and delivering engaging, high-quality content that enhances brand awareness, strengthens reputation, and supports occupancy growth. The role focuses on creative storytelling, national campaign execution, and proactive outreach to build the Trust’s presence across digital platforms. Key Responsibilities * Implement the Social Media Strategy in conjunction with the Digital Marketing Manager, with a focus on national and brand-level campaigns. * Develop and execute creative, high-quality content for major brand campaigns, ensuring adaptability for regional use. * Proactively manage all central brand social media accounts, ensuring consistency, engagement, and alignment with key marketing objectives. * Provide social media policies and guidance to Home Managers and their teams rather than direct regional account support. * Lead ideation and outreach efforts to source compelling real-life stories and user-generated content to enhance brand positioning. * Plan, develop, and optimise organic content and social campaigns across Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X (formerly Twitter). * Manage paid social media campaigns, including Meta Ads, and recommend tools to enhance performance. * Monitor and respond to comments, ensuring appropriate engagement that reflects the Trust’s values. * Deliver in-house training and workshops on social media management, including written guidelines and pre-recorded sessions. * Identify potential crisis situations and brand reputational risks on social media, escalating as needed to the PR Manager. * Analyse competitor social media activity, providing insights to strengthen the Trust’s approach. * Use social media monitoring and management tools to track performance and engagement, ensuring data-driven improvements. * Identify key online influencers and form relationships to expand brand reach and drive traffic to the website. * Track advert spend and support the Digital Marketing Manager with the budgeting process. About You We are looking for a proactive and creative individual with extensive experience in professional social media management and content creation. You will have a proven track record of running multiple professional accounts, growing engagement, and executing high-quality content for social media. Essential Skills & Experience: * Significant experience in managing social media platforms, ideally in a multi-site branded environment, working with senior stakeholders. * Proven ability to create and manage engaging content for Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X (formerly Twitter), with a focus on brand storytelling. * Experience managing external agencies for social media services. * Strong content creation skills, including campaign development and audience engagement. * Demonstrable experience measuring, tracking, and reporting on social media performance to drive continuous improvement. * Excellent writing skills with acute attention to detail and the ability to apply tone of voice guidelines effectively. * Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and engage stakeholders. * Self-motivated, target-driven, and adaptable to working under pressure and meeting deadlines. * A strong customer focus with a commitment to high-quality content and proactive brand engagement.
