Activity Co-ordinator

Benslow nursing home is a 32 bedded nursing home, part of the Benslow care home group formulated in 1982 by Stephen and Susan McQuinn.  We have small care homes, creating a warm home from home environment where we deliver person centred care with empathy and respect.  We are now looking for an acitivity co-ordinator to join our team to plan group and one to one activities that deliver great interest and outcomes for the people we support and care for.  You will encourage and support social inclusion and community integration and support the manager with community events held at the home also.

You will work with the key worker to ensure we meet the interests of the residents.  You will gain feedback from residents and adapt activities to their current likes and dislikes.

You wll be a team player and work with care assistants who are also engaging with the residents on a day to day basis and will assist in delivery support for these activities.

The role will be 30 hours per week.
