We are a small & homely care home, looking for a reliable, flexible & responsible Catering assistant to provide light suppers for our 16 residents.
Hours
Mon-Friday 3-6pm
The role
- Making Sandwiches & warming up/serving pre-prepared food.
- Cleaning Kitchen after & Leftovers
- Adhering to strict hygiene, Infection control & Health & Safety policies (training provided).
- Taking meal orders from Residents & serving meal trays.
- Working independently alone in the kitchen
Skills / Qualifications:
- No qualifications are is necessary but the following is required: Reliability
- Flexibility & Strong sense of responsibility Comfortable interacting with elderly residents. A desire to understand & ensure safe and hygienic practices (training provided). Ability to work alone An enhanced DBS is required (arranged by the home) Familiarity with preparing meals e.g. for a family is favoured.
