Hours: 30 hours per week (7.30am-5.30pm)
Shift patterns involved: 3 days on 5 days off each week
Rate of Pay: £15.47 per hour
Employment requirements: You will hold an appropriate catering qualification (minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate) and preferably have experience in a similar role. You will be required to hold a fully registered online DBS and will need to complete the Safer Food, Better Business certificate as well.
Duties & Responsibilities: You will be cooking and providing breakfasts, lunch and teas as well as snacks for our 28 residents. You will be responsible for upholding and maintaining our 5* Food Hygiene rating and for keeping the kitchen area clean and tidy. You will ensure the kitchen is cleared and cleaned at the end of each shift, maintaining essential paperwork and records and ensuring the weekly online food order is completed.
We are looking for someone with creative flair, good nutritional understanding, the ability to work unsupervised and a passion for baking where you will be able to show off your skills during events such as High Tea afternoons, parties, themed events etc all combined with a personable approach and a genuine interest in our residents. Having your own transport is essential due to our rural location. You will need to work collaboratively in a range of flexible rota arrangements including weekends and some bank holidays and will be required to undertake annual mandatory training.
