Care Home Chef

Our small and friendly care home is looking for a chef to create tasty and nutrious meals for our lovely residents.

At Little Oaks we pride ourselves on the high standard of care we provide in the home, an important and integral part of that is the home cooked meals and delicious home baked cakes/biscuits that come from the kitchen.

We are looking for a caring, dedicated and passionate person to join our team to fulfill this role.

As the homes chef you will:

Plan seasonal menus and prepare meals.

Plan ingredients, place stock orders and maintain stock rotation to reduce wastage

Take charge of the kitchen and be responsible for ensuring all Health & Safety, Food safety, SFBB , COSHH and risk assessments are adhered to including keeping up to date the relevent documentaion/records.

Participate in resident and staff meetings when required.
