Job Vacancy: Chef / Cook
Location : Sonya Lodge Care Home in Dartford, Kent
Contracted hours:  45  hours (to include – every other weekend free, as applicable),

Work flexibility in accordance with your availability and the service requirements
(Hourly) rate of pay:  From £13 - to be discussed and agreed according to experience and qualifications

We’re currently on the lookout for a Chef to lead our professional catering team. You’ll be responsible for providing high quality, attractive dishes for the people in our care with a range of special dietary and nutritional needs. You will have the opportunity to excel  whilst:
The Chef / Cook responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Preparing menus and agree them with the residents and the manager, including any resident preferences, special diets and specific foods as needed.
• Preparing and serving all meals in a timely manner.
• Maintaining the safety and hygiene of the kitchen environment.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements on food hygiene, storage and temperature control.
• Supporting the kitchen team and liaising with colleagues from other departments. 
• · Operating an efficient stock control system.
