The Care Team Award Elm Grove House Team – Hammersmith - London This team really ‘sung’ for the judges, they were creative and enthusiastic with a huge ‘wow’ factor, fulfilling their clients’ needs and realising their dreams – Magic!!

The Care Home Activity Organiser Award Christina Nimako - Jewish Care – Brent Cross - London Christina demonstrated a huge passion, breaking down barriers between the community and her care home. Bringing the outside world in. Her innovative ideas and encouragement for her residents is inspirational. The Ancillary Worker Award Tony Becker - Ashbrook Court Care Home – Stewardstone - London Tony’s passion for the care of residents came across so naturally. The initiatives he has implemented for the residents with dementia are truly inspirational!

The Care Trainer Award Gill Yentis - Jewish Care - London ‘The whole package’ the experience, knowledge and enthusiasm. Demonstrated an integrated and holistic approach to training and development, incorporating inputs from care staff, clients, relatives and local management with person centred focus.

The Outstanding Contribution to Social Care Award Sushil Radia - Westminster Home Care - London Sushil Radia has been a trustee for over a decade of the national charity, Counsel and Care, and its chair since 2008. Under his leadership the charity has reached more older people, their families and carers through its unique advice service and has raised its profile and influence in the debate about the future of care. Sushil combines a passion for getting the best care for older people with a great track record in developing care businesses. His energy, drive and vision are a credit to the sector and he is widely respected by his colleagues as one of the nicest people in the business.
