Achievements at Catalina House

We have received our unannounced Care Commission report dated 12th November 2010 we are proud to announce again for Quality of care and support we kept 6 (excellent) for Statement 1 and 5 (very good) for Statement 6. This leaves us on an overall grade of 5 for all Quality Themes although on our announced 24th June 2010 we achieved a 6 for Statement 1 Quality of staffing of which we are still working hard to improve on.

CONGRATULATIONS to 8 staff members who have gained their SVQ in Health & Social Care.

Well done to Margaret Foster, Fiona Macaskill and Andrina McKean on completing their Level 2 in December 2010.

Also this month well done to Debbie Sutherland, Charlene Carrigan, Caroline Hynd, Debra Berry and Angela Murphy for gaining their Level 3.

Debbie, Charlene and Debra are just in the process of enrolling with North Highland College (Alness) to undertake their Level 4 plus we will shortly be enrolling 3 more level 3’s and 2 more level 2’s.
